I studied wine with the International Sommelier Guild. Because of my experience in both food and wine, I can offer my clients wine pairing recommendations to complement the flavor profile of each dish. If desired, I can also team up with Karl Curran with Charlemagne Fine Wines to create an unforgettable dining experience for you and your guests. We can create a customized multi-course tasting menu paired with the perfect wines. Karl will provide the wines, prepare them for drinking, and over dinner get into deep discussion on their provenance, the culture behind the wines, the people who made them, the vintages, and also have a lot of fun with the food pairings prepared by yours truly. Having a dinner with fine wine can be an unrivalled experience which can only be further enriched by sound knowledge.
I have been providing personal chef services to an exclusive clientele throughout Los Angeles since 2014. I completed my culinary training at the New School of Cooking in Culver City and received my diploma from their Advanced Culinary Arts program. After my training, I became part of the teaching faculty at the New School of Cooking. In my years as a Chef Instructor at the school, I taught the kids cooking camp, the adult basic cooking series, recreational classes as well as hosted private events. My years of teaching experience have helped me craft unique private cooking classes where my students can have fun and gain confidence in the kitchen. I maintain my ServeSafe Food Protection Manager Certification from the National Restaurant Association and can provide a certificate of liability insurance upon request.
I love to share my cooking tips and recipes. I am a writer for The El Segundo Scene, the monthly guide to art, culture, and community in 90245. I am also currently working on my first cookbook. I am passionate about traveling so that I can experience different foods, wines and cultures around the world. My travels have taken me to some of the best food cities in North America and across Europe. I am looking forward to one day taking my culinary adventures all the way around the globe!
